Hi,

ok I made some pictures about which options we have by default for the site design, the layout is quite set, but we can change some options easily


and can even edit the full css if we want.

There are quite a number of given styles:


and I created some mockups:

Encore

Gamer

Highrise

and Reunion

So what do you guys think?

We can make also changes to the templates itself (at least a little), like using graphics etc.. but I would like to keep it simple and straightforward if nobody from you guys steps up and wants to do those changes.

I like the current style, but can you please remove some widgets from the front page? They just slow down the page without being useful at all (for example: I don't think anyone ever uses that music player).

musicplayer is easy... the badge and the adverts not... we would have to pay for that..

I like the current style & Reunion, but would it be possible to make the topics smaller so it's easier to navigate when more arise?

I guess that would be hacking the CSS... so yes.. If alucard or somebody else finds the time to do it.

I think it's just a case of decreasing the font size in the CSS.

I like the design.. but the whole site "lags" in Firefox while scrolling.. (Doesn't appear to happen in IE6).
And I really don't know the reason why (blocked all flashes already, seems like there is something wrong in the site code :P).
Otherwise good job on the move.. ;)

well.. the code is the code.. can't really change that (I could if I would request the code, but than I would need to hack stuff again and make sure updates are applied etc... so no..) but if you guys think that some of the stuff isn't usefull (like the music player ;-) ) we can talk about it.
